FOCUS IS ON FASHION IN REGIONAL BEAUTY SHOW AT NKY CONVENTION CENTER SEPTEMBER 30-OCTOBER 1

Covington, KY/September 5, 2007—Creating added dimension is one of the hottest trends to be explored as Barnum, Victory and Heil Beauty Systems presents Fashion Focus September 30-October 1 at Covington's Northern Kentucky Convention Center.

Beauty Systems spokesperson Laura DeNapoli says one of the big fashion trends that will be trumpeted at this year's show is texture. "We'll see it in all forms. For instance, loose curls are "in" versus the straight hair look. With the help of celebrities such as Jessica Simpson, extensions are on a big comeback—the whole idea of hair that you wear. Even eye lashes are catching on. Some of the new lines such as Ardell have sparkles which create a multi-dimensional look." She adds that accessories can now match your hair, skin and nails making it "a complete look."

DeNapoli says some of the new features of this year's show include those by Tocco Magico, which will be showing off new hair colors in a collaboration of Italy and America. Tigi will showcase its new Colour With Style look. Goldwell and Nioxin will make their debut at this show with classrooms and sales on the show floor. Business leaders such as Joe Santy will present. Santy's talk will be called Rods To Riches. He is best known for his web site—www.permboy.com. Conference organizers are courting smaller vendors that are growing in size for the trade show, held simultaneously during the two-day event.

Industry professionals from all over Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana come annually to the conference. Last three about 3,000 attended. DeNapoli expects about a ten percent increase in participants this year. For more information contact your local store or sales representative or call: 800-362-3186.
