ILLUMINATE 2008 BRINGS INNOVATIONS IN LIGHTING TO THE AREA
Covington, KY/July 24, 2008-The latest innovations in lighting will brighten the Northern Kentucky Convention Center during the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA) Ohio Valley Section's Midwest Regional Conference entitled Illuminate 2008 scheduled for August 21 and 22.
The Ohio Valley Section serves the Greater Cincinnati area, Lexington and Louisville. Conference Chairperson Jodi Doll-Bowling says this year's educational conference topics will cover lighting developments, which include sustainable design, legislation and environmental impact of emerging technologies and design trends. All of which are of interest to today's architects, interior designers, engineers, facility managers and building owners.

The mission of the Northern Kentucky Convention and Visitors Bureau is that of an aggressive sales, marketing, service and informational organization whose primary responsibility is to positively impact the Northern Kentucky economy through conventions, meetings and visitor expenditures. The direct economic impact of visitors' spending in Campbell, Kenton and Boone Counties in 2007 was $325 million.
